System requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows XP (Professional, Home Edition, or Tablet PC Edition), or Windows 2000 Professional
  • Intel Pentium III or later, with 800 MHz or faster processor, or compatible
  • 256 MB RAM (recommended)
  • 300 MB free disk space for installation
  • 1024x768 VGA with true color (minimum)
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Mouse, trackball, or compatible pointing device
  • Less powerful machines (such as Pentium 233) can run the AutoCAD 2005 application, but the results may be less than ideal; sufficient swap space is also required to handle the AutoCAD LT 2005 installation, as well as any data or drawing files saved; the use of additional memory or faster processors will directly improve performance and capacity
